9-16 still keeping the "fun" in fuctions. (but more fun!)

Prelude:
Correct your quiz from yesterday. Write down what you did wrong. Then do problem 1-36.
Ok, so we finished off the classwork problems from yesterday. Problems 1-27, 1-28, and 1-29. This was important since y'all don't necessarily have graphing calculators at home.

9/15 - We put the "fun" in functions!

Started off with a Concept Skill Mastery Quiz.
If you didn't get 100%, I gave you a practice sheet. Remember if you don't pass this then you may not pass the class.
Then we worked on problems in the book:
Chapter 1, page 16, problems 1-27, 1-28, 1-29,
HW is: 1-16, 1-22 (a, b, c, d), 1-26, 1-41 (a only), and 1-23 is EXTRA CREDIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TOTALLY SWEET.

6th Day. 9/4. Graphing Linear Equations.

Today...
  1. We did a concept mastery quiz either on solving equations if you have not passed that one, or linear equations. Remember, you have to pass with 100% mastery to move on to the next one.
  2. We worked on graphing linear equations. Handout on "Finding the equation of a line knowing 2 points" is in file number 6. All problems on the front page must be done for full credit. Last problem is extra credit.
  3. For homework we had a 2 page handout titled "Study Guide and Intervention". All problems on page 20 and 28. Odd problems on page 22 and 27.
Enjoy!

HW today: White handout, 2-sided, "Solving 2 step equations" and "Mixed Practice". Get it in file #5.
Cheers.

4th day: 9/1: Mo' Solving Equations

Title does not mean that Mo was solving equations, it just means that we are doing MORE of solving equations. We plan to MASTER this. That means you can do it without mistakes.
Prelude for today is in file #3.
We took a quiz at the end of class. You need to see me to take this. As all concept mastery quizzes you have to get ALL problems right to move on to the next quiz. You cannot move on to the next quiz until you get ALL problems right (did I just repeat myself? It must have been important).
