Today we reviewed the "Expectations for the New Quarter". This handout is attached below if you want to check it out.
We also worked on a two-page handout describing systems of equations.

Today we watched the Al Gore movie "An Inconvenient Truth". Students had to fill out a handout on the movie and turn it in at the end of class.

Physics October 23rd

We are finishing two assignments today in class:
1) "Who's the Most Powerful?" Lab: questions front and back.
2) The "Work" Lab is turned in.
3) Finishing the lab on Potential and Kinetic Energy.

All 3 due by the end of class! If not done, last day to turn them in is tomorrow before grades go out!

October 21st - Math

Today we worked on the "Rock & Rap" homework assignment. The prelude for today relates to today's assignment so make sure that they are done together.
Due today was HW 11: "Changing what you eat"
Assigned for homework was HW 13. Due Friday.

Monday October 20th - Physics

Today we did a pulley system lab measuring the amount of work done. This is due on Friday. Also due on Friday is our "Work" lab. Homework for today (due Friday) is to finish the "Work" Lab and finish the "Pulley" lab.

Today we did a lab on "Work". You need to finish all the problems on the page. They are due for HW at the next class period.

We finished the handout "You are what you eat". It is due completely done next time we meet.

Hey Guys,
Another GREAT physics lesson today! Yay!
Yes, today we finished up our blue momentum sheet and presented our answers to the class.
Handed out was our physics practice test (very important!!!) for our SECOND big test of the year. All questions on the practice test are GUARANTEED to be on the actual test on WEDNESDAY! That's right folks, students will have the SAME questions on their test. Practice test due Wednesday. No exceptions. Below is a link to the practice test. Enjoy!

Math: October 2, 2008

Today students worked on Cookies HW 9, Drawing Linear Graphs. They needed to complete all problems on that page.
Second assignment was on the backpage of this handout. They just have to do number 1 in the "3 graphs" side of the handout. If they didn't finish it in class then they had to finish it for homework.

Welcome to my blog. Please bear with me as I get things organized and this blog started. I hope to have regular posts starting on September 29th. On this blog I hope to post all homework assignments and classroom assignments as well. Additionally, I plan to attach all documents (handouts, worksheets, basically anything I handout in class that is in electronic form) on this blog. That way, you always have access to what is going on in class. No excuses for not knowing what's going on or what's due!
